Major offshore development in the Gulf of Mexico in the Mississippi Canyon area.  Jointly owned by Shell and BP.  Built by Hyundai in Korea, Nakika is Shell's first semi-submersible host in deep water and its deepest permanently moored semi-submersible development and production system.  First "electrically-heated" ready flow lines and risers.

    Sable Offshore Energy

In Nova Scotia Canada near Sable Island, in water depths ranging between 20 and 80 meters (66-263 feet).  SOEP selected Galvotec-III Sacrificial Aluminum Bracelet Anodes for their cathodic protection system.

    Shell-Bonga-Samsung FPSO

Built in Korea by Samsung, this FPSO is located off of the coast of Africa in water depths exceeding 1,000 meters (3,280 feet).  The hull has an overall weight of 300,000 tons.  Bonga's hull and interior tanks are protected with Galvotec-CW-III Aluminum and Galvotec Zinc Anodes.

    Texaco Petronius

This field is located in Viosca Knoll, block 786, southeast of New Orleans.  It lies in water depths of approximately 1754 feet (535 meters).  Petronius is the largest free-standing structure in the world.  Galvotec is proud to say that Texaco's choice was Galvotec-CW-III Aluminum Sacrificial Anodes for their Petronius cathodic protection system.

    Elf Exploration

In water depths of approximately 1130 feet (344 meters), this platform utilizes Galvotec-III Aluminum Sacrificial Anodes for cathodic protection.  This platform is located in the Viosca Knoll area in the Gulf of Mexico and is operated by Elf.

    Amoco Trinidad

With 40" diameter pipelines in the Caribbean Sea, this project utilizes some of the largest and heaviest Galvotec-III Aluminum Bracelet Anodes ever produced.

    Enercon-Anadarko

A sub-salt discovery located at Eugene Island block 346 in the Gulf of Mexico, in about 314 feet (96 meters) of water, led to the development of the Tanzanite and Hickory Platforms, which were designed concurrently.  Both use Galvotec-III Sacrificial Aluminum Anodes for their cathodic protection systems.
